10 Days In Umbria

Join Georgia Mansur as she teaches plein air painting in beautiful Umbria in Italy.

This water based media Georgia Mansur workshop will give you the tools to take your art to the next level. The most compelling art touches people on an emotional level, and so she will help you to access the power of your creative voice.

Georgia – whom students have nicknamed “The Art Whisperer” – feels painting is about communication. Painting is about story-telling in order to convey how the subject makes you feel. Putting your emotions and mood into the painting makes it very personal and moving. She will help you express your creative passions and help you to develop a deeper connection with yourself and with nature, and will help you to find your strengths and identify areas that need development.

What people say:

Thank you SO much for the wonderful doors you have flung open for me … anything is possible … the sky is the limit you have convinced me that I am in that doorway, and stepping out. You ARE a radiant treasure and I am so grateful to you for your belief in me. Thank you, personification of positive!
-Louise

Watercolour and Acrylic paints and mediums will be used in this workshop both in studio, on location as well as in our sketchbooks. Georgia Mansur is a trained and certified International Golden Artist Educator and so she will demonstrate and explain all the tools and gear she uses personally.

The group will develop expressive pieces of art depicting simple but powerful messages drawn from the endless range of human emotions and how we respond to the stimulus before us. So many wonderful subjects to paint and explore in Italy!
